Berserking (attack and casting speed for 10 sec) is a strong self-timed burst window for a Troll Hunter, Mage or Shaman DPS spec, and Regeneration/Rapid Regeneration give Troll a sustain edge that suits a Troll Druid or Shaman healer just as well between heals.
