Angeln

By WosandePartner

  3. Experte: Buch kaufen

Der Experte-Rang kommt aus dem Buch „Expert Fishing - The Bass and You“ (Stufe 20). Ein Guide nennt Booty Bay als Händler.

  4. Meister: Quest bei Nat Pagle

Für Meister braucht ihr Stufe 35 und Skill 225. Nat Pagle in den Düstermarschen verlangt vier Fische: Misty Reed Mahi Mahi (Sumpf der Trauer), Sar'theris Striker (Desolace), Feralas Ahi (Feralas) und Savage Coast Blue Sailfin (Schlingendorntal).

Leveling-Guide 1–300

Every successful catch counts in fishing, not the difficulty of the water. A high effective fishing level from pole, bait or food stops fish from escaping but does not skip a rank. Two gates: you buy the Expert rank as a book, and a quest with Nat Pagle unlocks Artisan.

    from skill 125 · from level 20

    • both factionsDer alte Mann HemingBooty Bay, Stranglethorn ValeCoordinates 27.4 / 77

No trainer: you buy a book (“Expert Fishing - The Bass and You”) from Old Man Heming in Booty Bay, at the very bottom near the fishing sign. Read the book before you hit the skill cap at 150.

  4. Artisan

    up to skill 300

    from skill 225 · from level 35

    • both factionsNat PagleNat’s Landing, Dustwallow MarshCoordinates 58.6 / 60

No trainer: the quest “Nat Pagle, Angler Extreme”. Accept it before you catch the four quest fish; you only get past 225 after turning them in to Nat.

Levelling route

  1. Skill 1 to 75

Where? Your starting water (Elwynn Forest, Mulgore, Durotar, Dun Morogh, Tirisfal or Teldrassil)

Buy a fishing pole and shiny baubles (+25) from the vendor, equip the pole, cast and click on the splash. Stay in the starting water until 75 and keep raw fish for cooking.

  2. From here on you need the Journeyman rank.

    Skill 75 to 150

Where? Waters in the capitals (Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, Undercity, Darnassus)

Learn Journeyman as early as skill 50 and character level 10. If fish escape often, nightcrawlers help (+50, from skill 50). Bait only raises your effective skill for a while.

  3. From here on you need the Expert rank.

    Skill 150 to 225

Where? Dustwallow Marsh (inner lakes, convenient for the later visit to Nat Pagle) or Stranglethorn Vale

Read the expert book before the cap at 150 (from skill 125 and character level 20). Bright baubles (+75, from skill 100) keep fish on the line. Keep catfish and trout for cooking.

  4. From here on you need the Artisan rank.

    Skill 225 to 300

Where? Feralas (fresh water, not Lake Jademir); quest fish: Feralas (inland water), east coast of the Swamp of Sorrows, west coast of Desolace, west coast of Stranglethorn Vale

At skill 225 and level 35, accept the quest from Nat Pagle and catch the four quest fish; after that you continue to 300. Use bait: most higher waters need about 300 effective skill for safe catches. Keep sunscale salmon and nightfin snapper for the last cooking points.

Tipps
