Classic+ is called Warcraft Forever
In the BlizzCon 2026 opening ceremony Blizzard announced Classic+ under the name Warcraft Forever. The game launches on 4 November, with the beta starting as early as the Thursday after the announcement.
The focus is on what made vanilla WoW memorable in the first place. Instead of one big story you carve your own path: there is no rush, and the journey counts more than the destination.
What is included
- New dungeons
- 10 and 20 player raids
- Skyborne as a new playable race
- New and expanded zones
- Account-wide perks
- Updated world visuals and lighting
- New race and class combinations, including Undead Paladins
- Over 1,000 new quests
