Items with profession bonuses
Professions in World of Warcraft: Forever have received not only many new recipes and bonuses but also gear of their own. Players have already found a few adjusted pieces in the Deadmines, such as the Smelting Pants, which are mainly useful for low-level miners.
The current build adds Cookie's Stirring Rod. Anyone who uses wands can wear it, and it speeds up cooking.
A hammer that saves a bag slot
Another example is the Arcanite Blacksmith Hammer. It is a throwing weapon with a chance to stun the target on hit, and according to its tooltip it also counts as a Blacksmith Hammer. Once you can craft it, you can drop the old hammer from your bags and win back a slot.
Items like these give players something to farm without necessarily making them stronger. That kind of horizontal progression is exactly what Forever is aiming for, according to Wowhead.
