In the Deep Dive panel for WoW: Forever, Blizzard announced over 600 new recipes. They span every profession and level range and are meant to change the way the game is played.

Cooking with an experience bonus
Cooking gets another change: food buffs now also increase the experience gained from kills. You will always want a food buff active while leveling.
