World, dungeons and items
Already available were Ragefire Chasm, Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, Wailing Caverns, The Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep, The Stockade, Blackfathom Deeps, Gnomeregan, Razorfen Kraul and Scarlet Monastery.
Darnassus and Thunder Bluff now have barbershops, every barbershop is staffed and city guards give directions to them. If you sell a Bind-on-Equip item with an appearance you have not collected to a vendor, it now becomes soulbound (was Bound to Account). For camping, the Boosted Rest debuff has a new icon, and campfires deal reduced damage to players with less than 90% health.
Classes
Nearly every class was adjusted. For Druids, Bear Form and Dire Bear Form generate 75% more Rage on critical strikes, Tiger's Fury is removed and the new talent Shifting Power converts Mana into Energy. All shapeshift forms are immune to Disarm. Hunters get Aggressive pet mode back. For Mages, Hot Streak is now called Heating Up and Combustion has 3 charges again. Paladins see changes to Redoubt, Holy Shield and Champion of the Light. Warriors generate 75% more Rage on critical strikes with basic attacks, and Dual Wield Specialization no longer boosts off-hand Rage generation for Fury.
PvP, professions and quests
Honor costs for PvP gear and upgrade tokens mostly rise by around 50%, and the Honor cap grows from 15,000 to 25,000. In professions, a number of Blacksmithing and Leatherworking recipes intended as random dungeon drops are now available. Enchanted wands sell for only 1 copper, Skinning once again works only once per creature, and starter areas have fewer Poor Copper Vein nodes. Dungeon quests give 50% less bonus experience and creatures and objects respawn faster in several zones.
Known issues
Among other things, the Forever installation is larger than intended, enemies can parry and block from behind if you stand too close, and switching Gamepad UI mode resets the active Edit Mode layout. The full patch notes with every detail are in Blizzard's beta development notes.
