The vendor trick is over
With the level 30 cap in the new beta build, players can learn higher profession ranks. One profession had its crafted weapons adjusted: Enchanting. All self-crafted wands of common and uncommon quality now sell to vendors for 1 copper. Previously their sell prices were in the silver range.
What it means for you
The wands remain useful as levelling aids and as gear. They can no longer be sold to a vendor for profit, though. Wowhead shows that crafting wands such as the Lesser Magic Wand, Greater Magic Wand, Lesser Mystic Wand and Greater Mystic Wand, combined with disenchanting green items looted along the way, could previously be a decent side income.
