Druids Can Use Consumables Without Leaving Form in WoW: Forever
- 1 min read
The old problem
As a Feral Bear Druid in Classic WoW and even in The Burning Crusade, using consumables such as an elixir or potion pulled you out of your shapeshift form. That was a real risk when main tanking a boss, since losing Bear Form left you open to a massive hit.
In World of Warcraft: Forever, Feral Bear Druids no longer have to worry about this.
See it for yourself
Level a Druid to 10 and finish the Bear Form quest chain to try it yourself. It is hard to show in screenshots, but as an example a Feral Bear can drink a potion mid-combat and gain a buff that regenerates 2 health every 5 seconds for 1 hour.
The buff stays up
The effect shows up on the buff bar as usual while the Druid stays in Bear Form.
In addition, certain consumables are now usable mid-combat, which gives you one more option for raid fights in a pinch.
