Collecting books in Forever: necklace reward toned down, ring open to all classes
- 1 min read
Why the rewards changed
Early in the Forever beta, players realised that books found around the world can be handed in to the factions' librarians whatever your class. At first it looked like a niche activity, until word spread about the special rewards.
What has changed
| Reward | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
10 books: Erudite's Amulet and Scholarly Pendant (quest Friend of the Library) | Rare | Uncommon, stats adjusted |
20 books: ring from Greater Friend of the Library, for example Field Researcher's Loop | Item level 40, partly Rogue only | Item level 35, all classes |
Easier at level 30
At level 20, collecting 20 books was quite a task. Now that the level cap is 30, finding enough books should be easier. Wowhead reported the ring change on 2 October and the necklace nerf on 3 October.
